Net Zero and Sustainability Lead

Reporting to: Regional Leadership Team & CSO

• Led PwC Middle East's net zero strategy and governance framework, reporting to the regional leadership team and overseeing emissions accounting, target tracking, policy development, analytics and cross-functional delivery across Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
• Designed and implemented the Middle East net zero framework, aligned with TCFD, WEF/IBC metrics, CDP and broader ESG disclosure requirements, strengthening governance, accountability and leadership decision-making across the region.
• Developed sustainability reporting methodologies, controls and Alteryx-based analytics that improved data quality, transparency and auditability across emissions datasets; related disclosures and underlying processes were subject to external assurance under ISAE 3000 (Revised).
• Led Scope 1 and 2 decarbonisation initiatives across regional operations, contributing to a 69% reduction in operational emissions.
• Led the procurement and implementation of renewable electricity across all PwC Middle East offices to fulfil RE100 commitments, and built a regional supplier engagement programme to embed climate metrics and Science Based Targets into the supply chain, contributing to a 9% increase in suppliers setting SBTs and a 27% increase in formal SBT commitments.
• Designed and built a workforce localisation decision-support model using Alteryx and Power BI, providing leadership with quantified data on cost savings, emissions reductions, flights avoided and accommodation savings when frequent-flying staff are relocated closer to their primary clients — enabling a strategic shift away from PwC Middle East's fly-in fly-out operational model. This model alone unlocked $4M in cost savings by quantifying the full operational and financial impact of localisation decisions.
• Produced executive dashboards and reporting on emissions performance, climate risks and transition priorities, enabling data-driven leadership decisions across the region.

Senior Manager, Leadership Team

Reporting to: Managing Partner & CFO

• Designed and launched the firm's first wellbeing strategy and wellbeing index; led the regional COVID-19 response programme.
• Achieved WELL v2 Platinum Certification and WELL Health-Safety Rating for PwC's Dubai office — the firm's first in the region.
• Directed tax compliance transformation programmes across KSA, Qatar, UAE and Kuwait, driving digitisation and process automation.
• Led implementation of PwC's confidential Compendia financial system for partner profit distribution, ensuring governance and senior stakeholder alignment.

Manager, Leadership Team — Chief of Staff

Reporting to: Managing Partner (2 consecutive years as Chief of Staff)

• Served as Chief of Staff to the Middle East Managing Partner, coordinating strategic priorities, governance and transformation initiatives across the region.
• Spearheaded Google G-Suite digital adoption and the launch of the regional service portal for 4,500 employees.
• Coordinated PwC Middle East Board elections in 2019, supporting transparent governance and stakeholder engagement.
• Represented PwC as keynote speaker at the Karachi Business Council; delivered regional sustainability workshops.

Sustainability Assistant Manager, Consulting

• Delivered ESG consulting across aviation, tourism, oil & gas and healthcare in UAE, Qatar and KSA.
• Led a human rights compliance review for a regional airline, aligned with UAE labour law and UN Guiding Principles.
• Seconded to Dubai Ministry of Tourism to design a green tourism programme incorporating sustainability standards.
• Implemented GHG monitoring systems for a leading healthcare provider and supported GRI-based reporting for oil & gas clients.

Senior Sustainability Consultant — Clean Energy & Sustainability

• Delivered end-to-end sustainability reporting and ESG advisory services for private sector clients across oil & gas, gold refineries, banking and retail & distribution sectors in UAE, Qatar and Oman.
• Led client management, full report writing, data collection and delivery of GRI G3.1 and G4 sustainability reports for a leading luxury retail & distribution group (UAE), a major downstream oil & gas operator (UAE) and an energy services company (Oman).
• Responsible for overall day-to-day delivery of a sustainability report and Equator Principles compliance engagement for a regional banking institution (Egypt / MENA).
• Conducted ESG due diligence across multiple UAE gold refineries for compliance with LBMA and DMCC responsible sourcing guidelines.
• Executed materiality matrix workshops, stakeholder interviews and sectorial benchmarks; developed a GRI 3.1 vs IPIECA comparison report for a national oil company (Qatar).
• Served as first-round reviewer for a national sustainability award programme (Qatar), assessing third-party sustainability reports against defined criteria and drafting evaluation and recommendation reports.

Socio-Economic & Environmental Impact Assessment Consultant

• Delivered socio-economic and environmental impact assessments for large ESHIA projects in the oil & gas sector across the MENA region, based in Madrid and Milan.
• Engaged with local government, communities and Indigenous stakeholders as part of a one-month Water for People NGO secondment in Bolivia, monitoring water and sanitation systems across 200+ communities.

Environmental Consultant

• Advised international and local clients in energy, tourism and transportation on market analysis, regulatory impact and operational strategy.
• Selected project exposure included biofuels viability in Angola, EU environmental impact analysis for the automotive sector, AVE railway strategy in Spain, franchise operations in Saudi Arabia and laboratory audits in Spain.

Field Volunteer — Water & Sanitation

• Deployed to Bolivia as part of the CH2M HILL Foundation, monitoring and evaluating water and sanitation systems across more than 200 rural communities.
• Supported quality assurance, accessibility assessments and culturally sensitive stakeholder engagement with local government and Indigenous communities.

Health & Hygiene Volunteer

• Developed and implemented a health and hygiene awareness strategy in the Virudhunagar district, India, working with local government and hospitals.
• Delivered health campaigns and facilitated treatment access for schoolgirls under the programme, coordinating with local authorities and healthcare providers.
